Overview
This view provides a comprehensive overview of SAP system's Bill of Materials (BOM) data. It combines information from multiple tables, including MAST, STKO, STAS, and STPO, to provide a detailed view of BOMs, their components, and their relationships.
Data Sources
| Source Table/View | Description |
|---|---|
| MAST | Header data for BOMs, including general information such as client, material number, plant, and BOM usage. |
| STKO | BOM header data, including information such as BOM category, internal counter, valid from date, and deletion indicator. |
| STAS | BOM item data, including information such as BOM item node number, internal counter, and technical status. |
| STPO | BOM component data, including information such as component ID, issuing plant, item category, component quantity, and unit of measure. |
Key Use Cases
- Analyze BOM structures and component details.
- Identify alternative BOMs and their usage probabilities.
- Track changes to BOMs over time, including date shifts and change numbers.
- Extract data for reporting and analysis purposes.
Query Logic
The view combines data from the MAST, STKO, STAS, and STPO tables using inner joins. The join conditions ensure that the data from each table is properly aligned and related to the other tables.
